• Conduct research and analysis of urban and regional development trends, including best practices, smart city concepts, and sustainable planning.
• Develop and support strategic documents, general plans, and master plans.
• Perform urban territory analysis, socio-cultural studies, and field surveys.
• Prepare presentations, reports, infographics, and other project documentation.
• Support stakeholder communication, including negotiations with city representatives, developers, and experts.
• Organize and participate in international and local urban forums, study tours, and professional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Urban Planning, Urban Studies, or related fields (master’s degree in the same fields is a plus).
• Proven project experience (at least 3–5 years) in urban planning, smart city projects, or development consultancy.
• Strong understanding of city planning tools and documents (general plans, master plans, redevelopment strategies).
• Proficiency in: AutoCAD, QGIS, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office, Figma, Miro, OpenStreetMap, Cadmapper.
• Excellent analytical, research, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication skills in Azerbaijani and English (knowledge of Turkish and Russian is a plus).
• Strategic and critical thinking.
• Strong teamwork and project management abilities.
• Creativity and systems approach to problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
