Currently, “FINCA Azerbaijan” Non-Bank Credit Organization is looking for a Junior Learning and Development Specialist.
SUMMARY
The Jr. L&D Specialist, being a direct report of LDM is responsible for supporting LDM in implementing and reviewing training initiatives and engagement projects at FINCA Azerbaijan. The role contributes to New Hire Onboarding and ongoing staff development programs that align with the organization’s Core Values and Strategic Objectives.
Essential duties include below areas, however other responsibilities may also be assigned:
- Support the preparation and delivery of training sessions for various employee groups
- Communicate training schedules and invitations in a timely manner
- Assist in developing, updating, and sourcing training materials and learning resources
- Support vendor coordination for external training programs when required
- Help ensure training programs reflect organizational changes and business needs
- Support subject matter experts in developing in-house training content
- Prepare training venues and ensure required tools and technical equipment are available
- Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment, or instructors
- Assist with scheduling training sessions based on classroom, instructor, and equipment availability
- Coordinate participant enrollment, attendance tracking, and training documentation
- Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through tests, feedback, and attendance analysis
- Maintain accurate training records and employee attendance data
- Support preparation of training reports and basic KPI tracking
- Support the organization of onboarding programs for new hires
- Assist in maintaining and administering the Learning Management System (LMS / FLZ) locally
- Support engagement projects

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Administration, Education, Training, HR or related field
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a Training Specialist or a similar role
- Language skills: Fluency in Azerbaijani required, good command of English is required
- Computer skills: MS Office applications, Basic familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience with online meeting, web conferencing, and virtual learning tools is an advantage
Qualifications:
- Initial experience or internship exposure in HR, Training, or Learning & Development
- Experience in providing training instructions to a group of people (highly preferable)
- Knowledge of various training and learning methodologies (preferable)
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
- Proficiency in word processing (MS Office) and presentation software (PowerPoint and etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
