- Design and execute international partnership strategies aligned with IDDA’s strategic goals;
- Lead negotiations and relationship-building with international agencies, innovation hubs, donor organizations, and global tech companies;
- Lead the design and execution of strategies to attract foreign technology and innovation companies to Azerbaijan;
- Oversee the development and delivery of tailored government support mechanisms for international businesses entering the Azerbaijani market;
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with international organizations, technology parks, investment agencies, and global innovation hubs;
- Coordinate bilateral and multilateral cooperation programs focused on innovation, digital transformation, and technological capacity building;
- Represent IDDA in global forums, trade missions, investment roadshows, and partnership negotiations;
- Promote Azerbaijani digital products and services in international markets through business development initiatives and strategic alliances;
- Supervise strategic projects within the division, ensuring alignment with national digitalization priorities and international best practices;
- Collaborate closely with relevant ministries, embassies, and business associations to support IDDA’s international initiatives;
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of international partnerships and business development activities;
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with IDDA’s sustainability goals;
- Work closely with IDDA’s technical, legal, and sales teams to ensure successful implementation of partnership initiatives;
- Supervise and mentor team members within the division.
Tələblər
- Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics, International relations, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience in business development, sales, international relations, government affairs, or strategic project management;
- Proven track record of working with international organizations, foreign governments, or multinational companies;
- Demonstrated success in forming and managing strategic partnerships in innovation, technology, or digital economy sectors;
- Strong knowledge of the regional innovation landscape and global innovation trends, startup ecosystems, digital economy dynamics;
- Excellent project management and negotiation skills;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken); knowledge of Russian is an asset;
- High-level communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Ability to lead a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex, high-impact projects.
