BirBank is looking for a seasoned, impact-oriented Product Owner to lead our Transfers Squad – the team that powers every domestic and cross-border money-movement experience inside the BirBank app. If you thrive on shaping strategy, obsess over customer journeys, and love turning insights into live features, we’d love to meet you.

  • 3-5+ years in product management within digital banking, payments, or fintech—shipping high-volume transfer or payments products.
  • Proven command of Agile/Scrum, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
  • Deep empathy for customers and mastery of user-centred design and JTBD thinking.
  • Comfort with data analytics (SQL / dashboards) and a track record of P&L ownership.
  • Strong knowledge of payment rails, cross-border remittance, compliance, and the broader fintech landscape.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; you can translate complex ideas into compelling narratives.

Own the vision & roadmap

  • Craft and evolve a clear product vision for transfers (P2P, account-to-card, international remittances, etc.) that ladders up to Tribe OKRs.

Discover & define opportunities

  • Use data, research, and competitor intel to uncover customer pain points and market gaps—then translate them into hypotheses, epics, and user stories.

Drive end-to-end delivery

  • Lead a cross-functional squad (engineering, design, analytics, compliance) through grooming, sprint planning, and release—removing blockers and prioritizing ruthlessly.

Champion customer experience

  • Design frictionless, compliant flows across mobile and web, balancing world-class UX with risk controls and regulatory requirements.

Measure what matters

  • Set success metrics, track P&L impact, and iterate quickly based on experimentation, A/B tests, and performance dashboards.

Align & influence

Partner with Payments, Risk, Treasury, Marketing, and external payment networks to ensure seamless launches and ongoing enhancements
