Department: Underwriting and Reinsurance Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk analysis to ensure the profitability and sustainability of the insurance portfolio
- Perform detailed analysis of insurance risks across various product lines
- Apply advanced underwriting techniques and pricing models to assess risk exposure
- Provide input into underwriting strategy, risk appetite, and product development
- Contribute to the development and improvement of underwriting and reinsurance policies and procedures
- Mentor junior underwriters and support team training when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in underwriting or reinsurance
- Extensive knowledge of insurance products, risk assessment techniques, and reinsurance practices
- Ability to analyze complex data, assess risk, and make informed decisions
- Extensive knowledge of insurance products, risk assessment techniques, and reinsurance practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Russian is a positive factor, but not obligatory
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
