Group Financial Analyst

Work location: Baku
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for the Group of Compaies, and conduct detailed analysis of the results presented in the financial statements and coordinate timely submission.
- Prepare analytical reports for the top management on the financial performance of the Group.
- Assist in developing financial forecasts based on activity analysis.
- Assist in preparation of budgets for companies within the Group and the Group’s consolidated budget.
- Monitor the implementation of the approved annual budget, prepare reports on deviations, and work with relevant staff members to propose corrective actions if required.
- Conduct analysis of capital expenditures and their efficiency, make recommendations and monitor the execution.
- Analyze the profitability of projects planned by the Group.
- Calculate profitability of new products and provide recommendations to optimize returns.
Qualifications & experience required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, accounting, etc.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.
- Knowledge of languages: Azerbaijan – native, English – advanced.
- Technical knowledge: IFRS preferred.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and consolidation.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- CIMA, ACCA, PMP (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Financial modelling skills preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills.
