Position Purpose:

The Group QC Manager is responsible for overseeing and standardizing quality control processes across all production facilities to ensure products meet internal and external quality and food safety standards. This role ensures end-to-end quality assurance from raw materials to final products, maintaining compliance with national and international regulations, including AFSA (Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in FMCG or food production;
  • Strong knowledge and experience with food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, etc.);
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System is required;
  • Completion of Internal Auditor Training is a strong asset;
  • Knowledge of and experience with AFSA compliance processes and inspections;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proven leadership and team management experience;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Willingness to travel between regional sites;
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani; working knowledge of English and/or Russian is an asset.
