Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Product Owner to lead the company’s digital self-service solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping the product strategy, roadmap, and vision, ensuring the development and delivery of customer-centric and business value-driven digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear product strategy, roadmap, and vision to guide the team and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research, analysis, and calculations to document and define requirements for product development and enhancement.
- Keep a pulse on customer needs and market trends to guide the development of features that improve user experience, increase adoption and create business value.
- Lead the product lifecycle using Agile methodologies, manage the product backlog, prioritise features, enhancements, and technical debt, ensuring successful and timely product delivery.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: from discovery and requirement gathering to testing, release, and post-launch support.
- Track and monitor product business metrics to achieve results aligned with company goals.
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, collaborating with business users and technical teams to clarify specifications and create comprehensive documentation.
- Deliver presentations and reports related to the product.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in product management of digital solutions.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms and technologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
- Proficiency in project management and budgeting.
Skills & knowledge:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Technical proficiency in relevant tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in business flow drafting and process mapping.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools, such as Jira, Confluence to facilitate workflows, task tracking, and documentation.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of web technologies, familiarity with mobile app development principles and software development life cycle processes.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile/scrum environments.
