- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments (by sea, air, road, or rail).
- Select and manage carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
- Negotiate freight rates, shipping terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs documentation, duties, and permits.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (bill of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).
- Track shipments, maintain visibility, and provide updates to stakeholders (suppliers, internal teams, customers).
- Follow up on orders with suppliers to ensure production deadlines and delivery commitments are met.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, or risk points in planned shipments, and proactively intervene to mitigate.
- Escalate issues to management when needed (e.g. supplier delays, shipping disruptions, regulatory hold-ups).
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business)
- Minimum 3 years experience in logistics, supply chain, expediting.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, customs regulations, freight documentation, and logistics best practices.
- Experience with ERP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
