- We are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise server and infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability, security, and operational continuity across the organization. The role requires strong technical expertise in Windows/Linux administration, virtualization, backup solutions, cloud services, automation, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, and File Server services.
- Manage Linux systems including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu environments.
- Maintain identity management, access control, and enterprise system configurations.
Virtualization & Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware infrastructure including ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
- Ensure scalability, resource optimization, and high availability of virtual environments.
- Support infrastructure expansion, migrations, and system upgrades.
Cloud & Collaboration
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Support hybrid identity integration, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
- Maintain cloud connectivity and collaboration platform availability.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Implement and manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions.
- Perform backup verification, restoration testing, and disaster recovery operations.
- Ensure compliance with RPO/RTO requirements and business continuity standards.
Security & Compliance
- Apply system hardening standards using CIS benchmarks and Microsoft security baselines.
- Manage patch management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure security improvements.
- Ensure alignment with ISO 27001 and NIST security standards.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Automate provisioning, patching, monitoring, and reporting processes.
- Improve operational efficiency through infrastructure automation.
Monitoring & Performance
- Monitor infrastructure health using tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, Nagios, or equivalent.
- Perform performance tuning, proactive issue detection, and capacity planning.
- Ensure infrastructure stability and service availability.
Networking & Integration
- Support network services including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL VPN).
- Work with firewall concepts, network segmentation, DMZ environments, and access control policies.
- Collaborate with network and security teams for infrastructure integration.
Database & Application Support
- Support PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments including backup consistency and performance monitoring.
- Assist with enterprise application deployments and infrastructure integration.
Telephony Systems
- Manage VoIP/IP Telephony systems such as 3CX ensuring service availability and QoS optimization.
Incident & Operations Management
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents within enterprise production environments.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
- Support ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Maintain technical documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and infrastructure diagrams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in enterprise system administration.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
- VMware infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS)
Proven experience with:
- Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions (Veeam preferred)
- Microsoft 365 and hybrid environments
- Infrastructure migration and upgrade projects
Solid understanding of:
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN)
- System security and hardening practices
- ISO 27001 / NIST security standards
Practical experience handling production incidents and performance optimization.
Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell (required), Bash and Python (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, Linux, or cloud certifications.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, and Nagios.
- Familiarity with SIEM and log management solutions.
- Experience with SAN/NAS storage technologies.
- Experience with enterprise security and compliance frameworks.
