EAS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housing Specialist to join our dynamic procurement team. The Procurement Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the procurement process by assisting with sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in procurement and contribute to the success of our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrange suitable accommodation for international employees
- Search for and evaluate apartments based on employees’ needs and company requirements
- Coordinate apartment viewings and rental processes
- Communicate with landlords, real estate agents, and property owners
- Coordinate lease agreements and related documentation
- Organize check-in and check-out processes for employees
- Monitor the condition of provided accommodation and coordinate maintenance when necessary
- Handle housing-related requests and resolve accommodation issues in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of apartments, rental agreements, payments, and related documents
- Coordinate utility payments and other housing-related expenses when required
- Ensure that accommodation arrangements comply with company policies and agreed standards
- Perform other housing-related tasks as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in housing, accommodation, property management, administration, procurement, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Azerbaijani; Russian is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively with landlords, agents, international employees, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of Baku’s residential rental market is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with procurement tools, regulations, and best practices is an advantage.
- Responsible, proactive, ethical, and adaptable approach.
